Zak Kraft
Principal, Project Manager, Growth Consultant, Web Designer
I’m Zak Kraft and I specialize in helping fellow business owners become more successful. Sometimes this involves assisting them with a particular project, such as a market research project or a new website, and sometimes this assistance consists of a long term partnership in which I offer support, feedback, accountability, new ideas, an entrepreneurial minded “right hand man” and more.
My experience in entrepreneurship, direct sales, and personal coaching has helped me develop a consulting approach that allows me to collaborate with my clients to create systems within their organization that help them think bigger, achieve more consistent results, and have the freedom that they dreamed of when they first embarked on their entrepreneurial journeys.
EXPERIENCE
After four years of sales and management experience during my college years, including opening, building, and managing my own 40 person sales office at the age of 19, I graduated Emory University with Marketing and Management degree and became the manager of the Southern Maine territory for a national direct sales company. I spent four years running that organization, including three of those years as the top District Manager in New England. I left my position in 2007 to start my next business venture, Education4Life Inc., an educational tutoring and personal coaching company. Somewhere in there I also had a stint working for a life coaching company as well as a national standardized test prep company.
CURRENT VENTURES
Education4Life quickly led to the birth of Growthtopia in 2008 as I sensed a need to assist fellow entrepreneurs in their journeys. In addition to Education4Life and Growthtopia, I am currently the President of the North Shore Networking Association in Salem Massachusetts, an organization in which I helped start in 2008. The organization fosters the growth of local business people through a weekly networking meeting.
THE GROWTHTOPIA TEAM
I’m a big believer in collaboration…and not just collaboration between me and the business owner. When the project calls for it, I am quick to transform from consultant or web designer into project manager. There are certain projects that I embark on with my clients in which my most valuable role is to assemble and then collaborate with a team of experts to carry out a consulting project. This approach means that the Growthtopia team is dynamic, and consists of talented individuals who fit the needs of the particular project.
EDUCATION
I graduated Emory University in 2004 with a degree in Marketing and Organizational Management.
FUN FACTS
In my spare time, I enjoy golfing, skiing, watching the Boston sports teams win, spending time with my future wife, and having the freedom to explore entrepreneurial opportunities that come my way. My entrepreneurial spirit has me convinced that I will be a serial entrepreneur.
